Specialist Engine Building

Whilst the firm has three key manufacturer engines, Mass Racing has developed over many years a great reputation for rebuilds on Jaguar, Triumph and Ford, the company has a specialist department that works on other manufacturer supplied engines including racing engines for Alfa Romeo, BMW, Healey, Rover, Vauxhaul, as well as Coventry Climax, Formula 3 Morgan & Formula 3 Renault engines. Both modern and historic engines are rebuilt on our premises in Great Gransden Bedfordshire.

Considerable experience over the years has been gained on Alfa Romeo V6 and twin cam racing engines including specialist rebuilds on DTM cars and quick historic racing Alfa Romeo’s. The same applies to Mass Racing’s experience with BMW race engines including the wonderful M30 and the M49 24-valve engines.

On the historic racing side, we have rebuilt and developed many Healey 100 4-cylinder engines with our latest rebuild developing 197 bhp.
